Bigg Boss 18: Contestants are paid Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 36 lakh for living in house

While it is a known fact that struggling actors and models who are flop in the film industry have to pay a sum to enter in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss house to get fame, there are others who are established in the industry and are paid in crores by the makers of the show.

In Bigg Boss 18 multiple small actors and other contestants are taking part including Vivian Dsena, Esha Singh, Karanvir Mehra, Nyra Banerjee, Muskaan Bamne, Alice Kaushik, Chahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar, Advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte, Rajat Dalal, Tajinder Singh Bagga, and Chum Darang.

Let us tell you which actors and other celebrities earned how much during their stay at the Bigg Boss house. The winner of Bigg Boss season 1 Rahul Roy, it has been learnt was paid a sum of Rs 1 crore while the winner of season 2 Ashutosh Kaushik and winner of season 3 Vindu Dara Singh were also paid the same amount.

Actress and a known figure in the film industry who is viral on social media almost every week, Shweta Tiwari was also paid Rs 1 crore for her win in Bigg Boss season 4. The winner of season 5 Juhi Parmar also earned Rs 1 crore.

However the international celebrities who have taken part in Bigg Boss have earned way beyond their Indian counterparts. US actress Pamela Anderson who also took part in the show for just three days was given a whopping Rs 2.5 crore for her brief stint. The Great Khali charged Rs 50 lakh per week during his stay at the Bigg Boss house.

Other contestants including Urvashi Dholakia and Shilpa Shinde were not so lucky and earned only Rs 50 lakh and Rs 44 lakh respectively. There were contestants who earned only Rs 30 lakh.
