Lawrence Boshnoi gang likely involved in Baba Siddique’s killing

The two suspects who killed a prominent politician of Maharashtra Baba Siddique have disclosed to the police that they belong to Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had done recce for months before the killing.

The two arrested suspects have been identified as Gurmail Baljit Singh who belongs to Haryana and Djaramraj Rajesh Kashyap of Uttar Pradesh.

Baba Siddique who is a former minister and a known face in Bollywood was shot dead by assailants late on Saturday when he was coming out of the office of his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office. The injured Baba Siddique was immediately taken to the Lilavati Hospital where doctors tried to save his life. He however died of his injuries soon. At least two bullets hit his chest which became the cause of death.

Soon the police started investigation with arrest of the two alleged shooters who had come to Mumbai from other states especially to kill Baba Siddique. It is believed that the two were staying in the area for past many weeks and had conducted multiple reconnaissance to know about the movement of Baba.

Baba Siddique had received a death threat recently and was under Y category of security cover. 5 teams have been formed by the police to carry out investigations and unfold the forward and backward linkages.
