In an interesting turn of events, Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan called one of the top directors of the film industry Rohit Shetty requesting him to postpone the release of his movie Singham 3 to avert its clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
The development has come in wake of scheduled release of both the movies – Singham 3 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 – reportedly on Diwali this year. The clash would have proven fatal for one of the two movies as earlier parts of both the movies have been liked very much by the audience across India.
The Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will also have Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and others as cast. On the other hand Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will have a combination of multiple star-cast including Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
Producers of both the movies are expecting a gross of over Rs 50 crore after release worldwide but a clash could mean fatal for one of the movies. While the Singham 3 has a mass following, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in which Kartik took the reins from Akshay Kumar was an average movie which did not garner much appreciation despite being a hit on the box office. As of now no decision has been taken by Rohit Shetty on postponing Singham 3.
